Where'd they go?

Many times through out the week I stumble over different topics I want to share over this site but somehow I forget them and I end up writing about how screwed up my life is right now. Do I have AADD? Am I gonna have to rock a pad and write them down? Why does my brain think these things are so insignificant that I let em go? Maybe it’s my depression working on me.

Perhaps its that you continually recieve the negative thoughts that come into your mind. You need to take control of your thought process and what you allow to enter and take root in your life. No matter how bad YOU think your situation is, someone is worse off than you. What you should do is make a list of the wonderful things about you and your life and post it in each room of your house (and in your car)...on the cabinets, mirrors, doors, ect. and force yourself to read them out loud over and over until you start believing them. When you believe them, you'll become that person..the one who never has a problem remembering all of the blessings he's received. As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he!!!

Or, perhaps your situation has a biological cause. ie your brain chemistry is unbalanced. It's fairly common especially for people who've lived for a period of time in war zones or traumatic environments (post traumatic stress disorder, google it). The answer for the biological issues is medication which will get you to the point where you can manage your thoughts as K says. Of course, if you only feel a little bad a day or two well then that's different. But I get the sense that you're experiencing emotional distress most of the time coupled with a sense of hopelessness and that it takes an incredible amount of energy and emergency to get yourself motivated. I've seen it many times and, if that's the case, a doctor can help. Just don't tell too many people because they'll respond with some BS because they dont know what the **** they're talking about.
