I'm so damn broke...

If i had the cash my particular plan would be to hit the Transformers Convention this weekend. Maybe its for the best, there will definetly be other times i can go throughout my life. Hopefully when Wizard World shows up in 2 weeks can be ready for it, then again maybe not! I guess im hoping for a new gig sometime soon plus I always thought i'd work about now doing at least part time work. Situations like this makes me wonder what am I doing wrong that I cant swing back in to the workforce like I believe I should. Well im still hoping to land something to help me out with what I owe before I go back to school.

Fanboy habit.

The last 2 days I did something that I haven’t done in a while I spent my money on junk for me. Getting to know myself I’ve realized as late as I have noticed, when I set my mind on something I want. It stays in my head constantly until I get it. I guess that’s what’s called setting you mind to reach your goals. The first thing ive bought was a special collectors figure of Batman from the Comic Book Saga Hush. The figure was sculpted from the artistic sketches of one of my favorite comic book artists Jim Lee. I’m glad I got him when I did because now he’s hard to get. The figure is a beauty. I dont think i'll ever remove it from the box.

pic_lrghushbatman.jpg

My 2nd grab was another Batman figure this variation is from the Dark Knight Returns Story line when bats’ a bigger and bulkier 50 years old thrusts himself into the tights again to take control of Gotham City once again.

pic_lrgdarkknightbatman.jpg

My third and last is (yes) another Batman figure. This one is from the new 1st appearances line. Note how the character has changed over the years. There are so many different variations of the figure now and I want to collect them all. I’m becoming a Batman Nut all over again like back in the day when my most treasured toys were my Mego Batman figures and Hot Wheels Batmobile car. Too bad I broke them and the shit irked me to this day now know that there was value within them. Aw well.

pic_lrgfabatman.jpg

Then out of curiosity I copped Viewtiful Joe for the PS2. I plan to play it tonight or maybe tomorrow when I feel like I can have a good time to do it. I'm definetly not gonna spend like that again for a while.

Pimp My X-box!

Thanks to X-box Scene and Tech TV; I've been really thinking about once i buy my X-box (don't Have one yet!) to get it modified. I've done all the research i can about the system the disadvantages and advantages that go along with having one changed. All i wish was to have that type of service conveniently nearby so that i could just pick it up. Unfortunatly Nothing like that is avaliable and the one place that used to mod systems (which is where i got my Modded Dreamcast from.) won't do it anymore. I already bought a mod chip to install once i get the system to install also im going to get a new hard drive for the box as well. I'm looking at a good 120gb drive for it. The system skins that ive peeped especially at GC Skins (got my eye on that Black Chrome!) Really got me lookin forward to souping it up. The only thing that holds me back is the fear of totally fucking up the system if i dont know what im doing. I feel it would be a test for me since one of my goals is to still get my A+ Certification. It would be a test for me. Then again, I'm tempted to let someone else do it for me. Xbo.Cx & Dream X are whom i'm considering. I'll read up more about it till i'm finally ready.

Ju-On > The Grudge

Since i'm a Asian Film fan I noticed the Film "Ju-On" has been "americanized" into "The Grudge" I peeped the synopsis of both flicks to see the differences & similarities.

The Remake The Grudge:

38m.jpg An American nurse living and working in Tokyo is exposed to a mysterious supernatural curse, one that locks a person in a powerful rage before claiming their life and spreading to another victim.

The original Ju-On:

38m.jpg It looks like a normal, everyday house, but the atmosphere about it is anything but. Something happened here once... no, even now there is a terror here, born of a spirit that possesses this place. The various supernatural experiences undergone by the different owners of the house, unaware of the horrible events that have taken place here, mingle across time, and the true form of the terrifying, invisible "Ju-On" that nests in this house becomes clear...

Which Seem's eerier? I'm gonna check out both like i did the Ring & Ringu (still my favorites!).

Touch circuits

I'm getting my X-box "Pimped out" by a cat in the north suburbs. Palatine to be exact. There’s something about that place that sticks in my head, even though it was my first time going there. Probably the famed Browns' Chicken massacre happened a good 5 to 7 years ago. Ignorant and shook as it sounds, I have never set foot into a Browns since then.

Anyway, I gave the kat my box hoping it would be a 3-hour hook me up deal. It didn’t happen that way unfortunately. Since I bought a fresh & new Xbox, the newest version (1.6 on the serial made in '04) is very tough to crack and modify. To top it all off it seems like my chip may not be compatible with the new version at all. I wish I new a place to sell it. It became 7 hours before we both decided to call it quits and I headed home and put my trust in him to fix it up. If it's too screwed, he told me he'd do his best to restore it to its original state. Hell, im ready to buy a new refurbished one and start over. Besides, there’s one that caught my eye in a pawnshop for under $100. Its been 3 days now and he hasn’t called and im missing my investment. I’m glad I didn’t pay him yet.

Happy Fun Time!

I headed to the 2nd annual Anime Reactor Convention for a couple of hours (unfortunatly, only for one day type of thing). I wish I had my camera because the cosplay (costumed players who dress like their favorite characters in anime) were excellent this year. These people cared about how they looked and in my book if ya gonna embarrass yaself then go at it the best you can! It astonished me the detail some of the people took into looking like their favorite characters. I, personally wouldn’t do it myself dressing up is something I grew out of doing (ironically, im still watching cartoons! LOL) but I definitely commend them for doing what I wouldn’t. The black population at the con (roughly under 20) was a surprise for me and some even participated in cosplay. I had to admit there was one cute sista who dressed like Tifa from Final Fantasy VII and she was adorable. I would try to mack but she looked pretty young, besides there was a cute tall light skinned (or was she mixed?) lady that caught my eye while I was there!

I decided to attend the grand opening/orientation ceremony for the convention and the executive director (a cool dude) was the host. He had a suede jacket I should’ve asked him where he got it. He let the audience know that the theme was about Ol’ School and 80’s to 90’s music would play in-between introducing the guests of honor. The first person who named all the songs got a free “3-day platinum” pass for next year. I feel I can’t be fucked with on the music history scene so I decided to keep track. I wish I had a pen because I had to name them all once I approached the director and gave off the names. Now I know how the contestants on games shows feel, once your put on the spot you mind decides to fuck with you. I missed only 2 and the crew pleaded with the director to give me one due to the audience screaming too loud while one was playing. The one I missed because they played it so short (Whitesnake – is this love) The director decided to grant me a free 3-day pass next year, no platinum though and since I was the ONLY one who wanted to participate. He asked me if I wanted to do it again tomorrow and because of work I couldn’t so I gave him my address and number. I hope he honors the deal because it would save me some cash!

As a matter of fact, im gonna put all those songs on my radio-blog in a few!

ish I felt worth mentioning

In my evolution to manhood I consider the first piece of jewelry I ever got for myself to wear because I wanted it is my steel Green Lantern Dog tag chain. As a kid I neva felt wearing jewelry. There was something about necklaces, watches and rings on me that I had to take them off immediately after wearing them; but I realize I need to grow some more and look mature even though I don’t feel it. I got to admit I like how it feels around me.

Playing defjam today after many ass whuppings I’m getting used to the fighting engine. I lucked out on getting my selection of females Cindy J, Lil Kim (hell naw!) Kimora Lee Simmons (why?) and Shawna. Well I had to rep for my City and choose Shawna but I got used like toilet paper trying to pull her and ended up with a chicken head (below average face but bangin body!) Today I ended up with Carmen Electra Navarro (why?) I guess it is a better upgrade. Heh…

Ayo Joe!

970123.jpg Chillin at home watching G.I. JOE season 1 pt. 1 DVD that my brother bought for me for my birthday I love the nostalgia yet now that im an adult I realize how the shit was so cheesy at times. Here are some examples of the Joes that as a kid you watched in awe yet as an adult your quick to holler bullshit. I’ve listed them in no particular order.

  • Cobra commander was a fucking idiot. Most of cobras’ defeats were his fault. Destro was his brains from the get go.

  • With the exception of the Baroness the females could only impersonate women.

  • Zartan’s “sunlight weakness” would only work in certain situations.

  • Storm Shadow was a bad muhfugga to only use his hands to total a tank. Yet only Quick Kick (who only knows karate) and Spirit (who was an 80% stereotype) could beat him.

  • Shipwrecks’ bird was a very intelligent parrot. He could actually engage in regular conversation with the Joes.

  • Nobody died (till the movie and even then was nullified) yet millions of dollars in property was fugged. When a plan or tank was shot down the pilots Miracously ejected to safety.

  • Every one had sorry ass aim!

  • When ever the Joes hijacked a cobra vehicle they never worked (lousy cobra junk!)

  • Every Joe was super athletic I’m talking Captain America style. Doing somersaults off cliff edges to grab on Cobra Fangs.

  • If Snake Eyes was mute how did he command his pet wolf?

  • If one of the Crimson Twins died Would the other die too?

The last two statements were just shit that came to mind. Feel Free to Join in on whatever I missed. I Didn't even start on the personalities.

Coincidence or fate?

A week ago I just read Will eisner's "Contract With God" I enjoyed the story wholeheartedly. It kinda moved me, his storytelling influenced me to continue with my scriptwriting. I just found out he died a couple of months ago. I went through my collection and found out my issues of the Spirit were done by him as well. i'm sorry I slept on his work so late in the game. R.I.P. Mister Eisner.

    Episode III OWN3D (pt1)

Ok I finally saw it. It was decent yet some parts seemed rushed. On one of the Message boards I frequent. Dude brought up some good points about the film Using his quotes, lets get on them.

    howsharpismylightsaber.jpg.jpg

-Why would the Senate let the Republic become an Empire so easily? Grievous and Dooku had been taken out, the Jedi had been killed, the war was over. How could you have been a democracy for generations and then suddenly not only agree to become a dictatorship, but APPLAUD the move?

    Good ass Point!

    - Anakin's conversion to the dark side was WEAK. Let me get this straight, the ultimate deciding factor is that Palpatine can keep Padme from dying? Couldn't the Jedi have done the same thing? Wasn't that at least worth asking? You've pledged your loyalty to the Jedi, they've trained you, befriended you, they use the same Force for their superhuman powers that the Sith do, why wouldn't you AT LEAST ask them if they could save Padme?

I think the general reason was love for Padme that made anakin switch sides

Ok, so maybe he didn't think to do that because Palpatine was in his head. So why not SHOW us Palpatine fucking with Anakin's mind? Maybe when he's alone he hears voices. Maybe when he kills Dooku he hears a voice that tells him to do it, rather than "chop chop"/ "oh shit, I shouldn't have done that."

They did a little of that in the game, Palpatine communicating with Anakin mentally.

They also never sold us on the "Anakin's power-hungry" angle either. It was somewhat hinted at, but not really. Show us that that was a factor in his decision, because again, he had pledged himself to the Jedi, who were anti-Sith, and when it came down to it, he just switched sides easily. Cut off Sam Jackson's arm, went into some "what have I done" mode for about 10 seconds, and then just knelt down and switched teams. Switched teams. After his bitch ass was up there talking about the Jedi way and loyalty and nobility and such.

Another good ass point except i'll go further. He feels remorse for killing Windu, yet he doesnt when he deliberatly kills Dooku unarmed. Why is that?

All in all, Anakin came off as a weak minded dude who didn't really measure up to becoming any kind of Lord, let alone the Darth Vader we saw in 4-6.

Maybe it was because Ben owned anakin on the lava planet with one swoop chopping off all of his limbs. Lucas said that once that happened He wasnt 100 percent anymore.

    - Since it's come up before, why not tell us more about the ability to see the future? Both the Jedi and Sith seem to have it and either use it or allude to it, but why not break it down really quickly? Is there any way to change what you see? Why can't you foresee your own downfall?

That is good point as well. Thats the half for now. 2nd half tomorrow.

    June 2, 2005

    Episode III OWN3D (pt2)

    vader.jpg

Ok lets finish the commentary. Ya gotta admit some of the stuff made me rethink the movie. My reasoning was correct, it did seemed rushed. Anyway...

    - Why didn't Mace and Co. tell the rest of the Jedi, and in turn the Senate, that Palpatine was a Sith lord once they found out. I mean niggas didn't hesitate to shoot a hologram to each other to say "hey I just killed Dooku... hey we took out Grievous." So Anakin tells you the news, and you don't even send the rest of the Jedi a text message or something? Hmmm... you've only been looking for the Sith lord since EPISODE ONE. Doesn't his discovery warrant a Jedi all-call? "We found him bitches, and we're about to go and kill him."

Another good ass point, but at the same time he didnt come in all by himself; maybe if he brought yoda & Ben the first time it wouldnt've happened that way. Aw well.

    - And think about if the Senate knew a Sith Lord was running things. Now supposedly the Sith were once big and bad and ran the galaxy, and their history was known by regular people (remember Palpatine telling Anakin the story of the Sith at the opera thing?). So how do you think the Senate would react to Palpatine being put out there as a Sith?

They would kick him out. I felt like the Jedi's he used a Sith Mind trick to fool them and keep the wool over their eyes.

    - If Anakin on the dark side was such a bad thing, why take chances that he survived getting maimed and burnt? What I'm saying is why wouldn't Obi-wan just kill him? Cut off his head, finish the job, don't stand there and give a speech!

Ben was a lame in that sense. He still had the notion to "turn a Ho into a Housewife". He was hoping some inch of reasoning by seeing the folly of his ways would help him change back for the better.

    - You really expect me to believe that a pregnant Padme would just hop in her ship and fly to the Lava Planet to go and confront Anakin? A pregnant chick on the Lava Planet, how smart is that? Then to top it off, Anakin killed the separatists on the Lava Planet, and then just waited around looking out the window, so he was conveniently still there staring off into space when she arrived. And apparently going from their home base to the Lava Planet was like going from Decatur to Stone Mtn.

Ok so in script writing that was what is called "Deus Ex Machina" a.k.a. (as my boys likes to put it.) The writers were on their side.

    - The dumbest thing HAD to be Padme dying because she lost the will to live. How in the fuck do you lose the will to live when YOU'RE HAVING TWINS! Then you mouth some shit about Anakin still having good in him. Well bitch, try staying alive, raising your kids and seeing if you can't bring him back to the light.

Yeah that was my hang up as well. Lost the will? Fuggin kinda mess is that? It would be more believable if she suffered complications of lack of oxygen from Anakin's Force Choke and died giving birth.

Well I guess thats it in a nutshell. My man made some good points and even though like a blinded geek i tried to explain them but in truth? dont know what they were thinking.

    Foreign movie Reviews pt.1

Being the nerd I am when it comes to flicks to get the heads up on then next flick they convert to American, I’m Kicking back and watching some of the foreign flicks I bought over the week. Here’s my review of a couple.

The Spear of Longinus / The Messenger

These flicks were about 30 minutes each but man where they entertaining. The director has made his mark with a few flicks and is all the buzz overseas. The first flick I saw by him called Versus didn’t impress me at all. It was an interesting flick about immortal battles between good vs. evil with zombies thrown in the mix. After I watched that flick I wasn’t too interested in any other flicks by him. Then “spear” came along and surprised me with its story. What I noticed about this director is that he can make a good story work for dirt cheap. The “Spear” Takes place within a war at a hospital where the sole doctor dies at the beginning and before the hospital is shut down the premises is invaded by soldiers carrying what we know better as the “Spear of destiny” One of their soldiers needs to be serviced and they only available person able to help her is the nurse. The wound is out of her league and its then a tall mysterious man enters the building and tells them she was attacked by a vampire. All in all the sets were short not much was used yet the story pulls you in despite the scenery (it all takes place indoors in 3 rooms) The extra short flick “Messenger” is also a great story which despite the length resolves very quickly and leaves you satisfied.

    Nochnoy dozor a.k.a. Night Watch

This flick will be soon on its way from Russia to American theatres. By the description of the trailers and reading the synopsis you think you’re in for a horror type of flick. By looking at it I instantly thought of Clive Barker’s Night Breed since it seemed similar to that film. Once I saw it I was only 10% correct it takes the premise and flips it since the story is about a group who stop the supernatural during the day & night. Since the horror aspect of the flick would seem more on a psychological level they cheese it up by adding a “great one” who will make his choice to become good or evil. The film has definitely some cool elements to the flick along with some things that make you wonder but to rule it out as a culture clash. The main element I liked was the plot twist and how it avalanched from the beginning.

    More on the way soon!

Body Bags - Long time coming...

    BB02_cover.jpg

One of the reasons im happy to be alive. I've been looking for this book for ages its so damn scarce its rediculous the mini-series was definetly ahead of its time which is why it caused a little controversy with the excessive violence through out the book. Now on the 10th anniversary of it's release the book is re-released turning a 4 issue into 2 issue mini-series to whet your appetite of new stories on the way. When i found out i raced to the shop and picked it up. I'm definely looking forward to the new ish coming up. Good Going, 12 Gauge! I hope they'll be at the Wizard convention this weekend so i can get it autographed. :D :D :D

I just found out about it. My 2nd favorite Batman artist and Spectre co-creator. I feel like im the last to know. I would've loved some original art by him before he went. I'll miss his presence.

    R.I.P. Peter Jennings

I was shocked when i heard this info. I can remember when he was on The Daily Show a year ago. His presence will be missed as well.

    R.I.P. Jack Johnson.

How wierd is it that I was called in for a interview at Johnson Publishing a month before his death. I respect him and his business. GodSpeed.

    Letting Some Go

wpbox.jpgI went to the comic shop to cop some new boxes to replace three that are worn. When I lived with my grandmother for 2 years she had a lot of floods and 3 of my comic boxes were casualties. I know if I lived with my mother she would’ve been so happy. She’s always tried to stop me from collecting; the more she pressured me the more I bought ignoring my needs for clothes and whatever else. It was the only way I could tolerate living with her. Anyway, when I saw that 3 of my boxes were near destroyed because of the flood I was heartbroken. They were one of the things that meant a lot to me. The sad thing about it is that I kept them thinking most of them can be saved. I held onto them for a good 2 more years afterward till the bacteria in the books gave off a weird smell that funked up the living room of my place. Despite my mother/Landlord (hopefully not for long) complaining I decided to finally handle it. I opened the worst boxes and started salvaging the comics that could be saved. What I couldn’t I kept in the warped boxes to be trashed. It definitely hurts to throw away what has been with you for most of your life. I have one more box left because I bought 2 new ones instead of three. It also got me thinking what do I do if I decide to move out of state? The rental would kill me in the pocket. I truly don’t want to sell all my 22 boxes, heaven forbid I find a female into me and she’s not into having my collection around. I need suggestions.

    For the hell of it.

    hulkpod.jpg

I was playing around with Photoshop and decided since I couldn’t find decent iPod wallpaper to rock I made one. I used the images from the game (and my latest addiction) The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction and made a parody. If ya like it feel free to rock it. I made 3 sizes all zipped up to suit ya fancy. Just don’t claim the shit is yours. :D

    Settling the Score 4 gore

    icon_ao.gif

GTA: San Andreas was just re-released in stores this week after some parents who bought the game for their kids discovered a hack for a sex game. Personally I was never into this game because of how long it was. I played GTA III and that was enough for me. I won’t buy sequels until after I complete the original. Anyway it irks me how mothers, wives and females in general are so appalled by the game. The females that ive heard from first hand have told me they buy it exclusively for their husbands. Ok, that’s all good but seriously when a game is slapped with a Mature adult rating what do you expect?

Thanks to games like mortal kombat (since i'm looking foward to the Shaolin Monks game) being viewed by politicians and mothers the ESRB has been created. Now just like movie ratings they need to be enforced by the parents who decide what their kids need to see. In a Best buy I’ve noticed some parents don’t care. They’ll buy the game for the kids no matter the name or looking at the ratings just for the sake of shutting the kids up. Hell, my moms did the same thing with me and my brothers except she sat in on us playing Mortal Kombat II and using Jax’s Fatality she screamed in horror. Ye, she didn’t make us stop playing the game, for we knew reality.

Then there are those who believe kids at a young age wont know the difference, this is based on personal experience. There will be something’s that will be scary, no doubt. We should also stop thinking kids are so naieve! My father sat me through Alien & Halloween movies before I was 10. I was Shook. Yet I cant remember having any nightmares of them as a child until I hit my preteens. Anyway, Back to the subject.

Games like Time Crisis & Grand Theft Auto do not make future killers or troopers. In the class where we had an ethicical debate about the subject I told them how I felt. I said I’d rather play Halo. Many didn’t know what I was talking about. As soon as I said shooter the women got uptight; yet when I explained your killing aliens they didn’t care. Tell me what kind of twisted way of thinking is that? Let me get it straight as long as it's not people its okay?! What I did was after saying that was exaggerate the violence by saying crazy shit like “I love it when the aliens’ glow in the dark blood splatters all over the wall!” lol. It was something that was easily accepted could now become a no-no as well. This is the type of mentality we need to change. You don’t want violence in your home shut everything down.

Some feel these are the same games that the military are using to train their soldiers. I totally disagree. Please, Prove me wrong by naming the game that the government does not exclusively own and let use. I feel if that was the case Mortal Kombat would teach many kids how to kill other kids with their bare hands. And that shit aint gonna happen. One more debatable question for those who feel this way about those games breeding criminals. In the same studies, kids that are into games like those are also into Sports games. So how come Madden & NBA2k hasn’t made there kids better athletes yet?

    Every 10 seconds...

    A sucker is born.

The Xbox360 will be released on Nov 22. It will give ya the option of either the hard drive version with online gold access (499) or the core system (299). If I could afford it I would get me whichever version I could. My biggest problem is that to buy the 20 GB Hdd is 100. Why do that when I could buy a 250 GB Hdd for the same price? Whut it do? I’m told that the 360 discs won’t need the Hdd so the hard drive will be for the old Xbox games. It's so nice of them to consider us gamers.

From what the shows and pictures depict, they say your better off waiting for the ps3 instead. The majority of the start up games for the system is no better than the original Xbox. The best element that moved me personally was the clearer rendering of your old games that it can bring. Now that the clock is ticking the more cooler and detailed games are appearing. The new capcom game below (yes it’s a game I thought it looked like a movie) is a good example of what the 360 is capable of and it can only get better from here.

The craze of getting it early has places like Electronics Boutique reneging their pre-pay deals. So far there’s is no news of a small supply coming about and hope there will be no recalls once there released. All I’m saying is for my hard earned money Microsoft better create a solid flawless product. Now contests like Mountain dew’s Every 10 minutes have helped sales for the drink soar. Yet no one has really won every 10 minutes and if they did why aren’t their any postings of winners on the site. I feel they should at least give that incentive for people to continue playing. Yet there are hackers and pirates trying to hustle their way into getting a 360 by their own means. They know as well as I do the chance of winning is slimmer than Calista Flockhart on crack. This caused some cats to buy mountain dew in bulk, copy all the source codes and sell them online. That’s lots of dew drinking ya'll. Some cats will even try to spam you with already used codes and try to sell them. I couldn’t believe a dude barely got away with a $100 bid for his codes on eBay. The pinnacle of all this is the pic of a code generator that creates codes for you until you win one. Here's where it gets hard though: let’s say you have one and then you win. The rule will state that you will have to send in the winning cap as proof. With a generator your winning is void because the rules deem it illegal.

Theres a whole room about it in IRC and dudes are getting their hustle on selling it for $5. Hell, i would've been suckered in as well till i read the rules. The BS is out there. You just have to know when you need your shovel.

    Spook this.

Wanna know what give me the chills? When 16-17 year olds go Trick or Treating with no costume. Ok, so that aint scary at all. Glad I didnt buy any candy anyway.

On another tip. While i'm gearing up to see SAW 2, a thought occoured about horror movies lately. I'm personally tired of all the Vampire & Zombie Flicks. Its time for another universal monster to be used: The WEREWOLVES. On my momma The right script and the franchise of werewolves could be back in action like it was back & the day. The Howling & Silver Bullet were by far the Best WW flicks we've seen so far.Honorable mention to flicks Wolf & American Werewolf in London too. If you dont include that old 70's flick "Who's the werewolf" (I believe thats what it was called) I feel since Marvel is going movie crazy they should try to do a Werewolf by night flick. Hell I'd gladly write it if it could be so. Yeah, we definetly need more Werewolf flicks. CURSED DONT COUNT, MAKE THAT SHIT RATED R!

    Damn...

Xbox360 went on sale midnight and peeps went loco. I was embarassed to see some of the dudes i know waiting in line in the cold for one on the news. The Games arent that impressive yet in my view.

What pisses me off more is a dude i know just copped 2 of them and is now selling them on Ebay for $1000.
What part of the game is this?

    I'm all late

I totally missed the point of last boondocks episode. Then a friend broke it down for me. Did yall catch on to what the episode was about. When they were going after the xbox killer they decided not go after him, instead they went to a store. In the store there were some arabs. The white boy with the W on was george bush, and the other was chaney. They pull a gun on the owner and convince the cop that he had a gun which he didnt (weapon of mass destruction). The shop owner looked like saddam. The other 2 arabs in the store were people trying to protect there store (home). The cop gets shot all up just like the military. The xbox killer represented bin laden. They knew where he was but they didnt go stop him. hmmn...

The "Kirby" of Animation has passed away. Space Ghost was his greatest creation but personally I always felt The Mighty Hercules & his pet lion Sampson. Much Respect.

    Rollout

In this day and age of remakes, which we have nobody to blame but us for letting them continue this trend. A live action Transformers the movie (directed by Michael Bay) is now in the works. Fans of the series and nonstalgia fans are looking forward to it. Unfortunatly it wont be based on any version of the tunes at all. No Generation One We all grew up with. I figgured that anyway, I know nowadays they wouldnt let Megatron become a Gun. Instead he will become a helicopter. I figured he'd be something more potent but I guess not.

This pimped out camaro will be non other than (brace yourselves...) Bumblebee. Im not digging it already but at least the color is the same. I guess VW wouldnt let them use a model.

This is one of the decepticons that will be featured. Dont know his name yet but what was done with the ride is tight.

Now all we gotta do is wait for the displays of Devastator (tank w/o Constructicons) Optimus (Fire Truck) & Starscream and see what they'll be.

    Damn you sony!

Trying to upgrade my PSP ( so I can hack it, heh) The upgrade failed which caused it to brick (kill) my PSP. Since I bought it this year (when i had a job) I'm able to return it for a new one thru its warranty (just pay for damn shipping). I just hope they dont send me one with the highest upgrade. Couldn't do jack with it then. Aw well.

    Spiked Rate

Back in 1987 a movie was deemed so violent and bloody it was deemed a rating X by the motion picture association of America. The director and script writer wanted his vision portrayed to as many people as he could. Through a number or re-shoots and editing the film was reduced to an R rating. The film was Peter Vanhoeven’s Sci-Fi Action classic Robocop. The Directors cut, now out of print is now available on DVD thru eBay.

I’ve heard that the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a ride of extreme Gore and Mind screwing. That peaked my interest. Especially when I was told dudes actually gets hacked in full view by leatherface.

Im looking forward to the New Master of Horror Series (the banned episode is still avaliable on bootleg) and Saw III, cuz nobody can do inner & outer torment like Jigsaw!

I bring these instances up because after seeing the Scream Awards on Spike TV With awards for best mutilation which the movie Hostel’s “Eye removal” won. My brother made up a good point. I failed to notice how the standards for the ratings have changed. What would’ve been rated R is now PG-13 and so on. I remember the days when simple blood splatter on the wall was sufficient enough to show that the victim got murked. I remember back in the day the most extreme flick to see was Faces of Death. I avoided it because of the realistic nature. I didn’t want to see real death and still wont to this day (im not that bloodthirsty contrary to what some believe). Even my Ex saw it and told me about it. It was like the original Jackass, the talk of one of the must see flicks during High School years. The Now the cutting, slicing and peeling of the flesh must be shown in order to get a true rise out of anyone. I am more prepared for the gore due to my viewing of imported films which they have no qualms about showing vile horrid graphic details of death. The worst I have yet to see so far has been the Suicide club. As fake as the film was; the beginning almost made me turn it off.

    But I digress.

I know I haven’t been the only one to notice this. What I’m getting at is where my curiosity comes in. Too much sex and its rated NC-17 a rating nobody wants because it won’t generate cash. Yet nowadays a Man can have his left ass cheek chopped off while cannibals run to it as their dinner and it’ll still Rated R. Who decides to change the standards? How much violence do we need to become numb to before world takes notice. hmmmmmn...
